Chris Washburn Out with Broken Finger

Chris Washburn is expected to miss 3-5 weeks with a broken right pinky finger.

The TCU Basketball team has suffered its second major setback of the season. Chris Washburn will be out 3-5 weeks with a broken right pinky finger. TCU is optimistic that Washburn can return for the opening of the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena against Abilene Christian on December 20.

Washburn was one of the most complete players for TCU last season, averaging 7.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He also led the team in blocks and shooting percentage.

Junior college transfer Vladimir Brodziansky is expected to replace Washburn in the starting lineup during his absence.
