FORT WORTH -- For any head football coach, let alone TCU's Gary Patterson, the injury report was especially detailed.

After offseason surgery on the right knee seven weeks ago, mobility was returning despite the knee still being bandaged. The patient was about 80 to 85 percent and able to make it through the first spring practice.
