Jamie Dixon’s off-balance 30-footer to beat Texas in 1986 won’t be his biggest moment at TCU, after all.
At least TCU athletic director Chris Del Conte, the school’s administration and the deep-pocketed boosters who are bringing Dixon back to Fort Worth hope so.
After multiple media reports Monday, Pittsburgh athletic director Scott Barnes confirmed the news at an afternoon press conference, opening by saying “Jamie Dixon has decided to take a job with TCU, going back to his alma mater.
