Since turning professional earlier this year, Cameron Norrie, the former TCU star and No. 1 collegiate singles player has begun to make his mark on the tennis world. After winning the Binghamton Challenger in July, Norrie has now won the Tiburon Challenger in California.
Cam rolled through the tournament, only dropping two sets across five matches. Entering the tournament as the No. 8 seed, Norrie opened with his closest match, in which he defeated Elias Ymer 7-5, 3-6, 7-5. His next opponent, Mitchell Krueger, also took the former Frog to three sets, but Norrie held on 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
