Brian Howard has unfinished business with the Frogs, according to an Instagram post from Tuesday afternoon. And for that reason, and others, he will bypass the Big Leagues to return to TCU for his senior year.
Howard, who took on the role of staff ace and team leader when Mitchell Traver was sidelined to start the seasonby injury, was 10-2 with a 3.19 ERA, including a 4-0 stretch in the post-season that featured victories in the Big 12 Tournament, the Fort Worth Regional, the College Station Super Regional, and the College World Series. Howard had a 2.9/1 strikeout to walk ratio in 98.
