TCU basketball has had a really up and down week.
Last Saturday, the Horned Frogs lost another very close game, this time at Kansas State by five.
On ESPN’s Big Monday, though, Jamie Dixon’s team picked up its biggest win of the season by defeating No. 6 West Virginia, 82-73, in front of a raucous crowd at Schollmaier Arena. The victory over a ranked opponent helped keep TCU’s tournament chances alive, and could spark a late-season run.
Unfortunately, that signature win was not enough to offset the loss to the unranked Wildcats, as TCU dropped one spot in the latest bracketology projections from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.
