It’s been a big recruiting weekend across the country, as a host of big names made their decisions with June coming to a close. Not to be outdone, the Horned Frogs got in the act in the form of 6’5”, 250 pound Michael Nichols, a three star offensive tackle out of Justin, TX.
Nichols chose TCU from among five offers, including two of the Frogs’ biggest rivals in Baylor and SMU. A bit of a late riser, he impressed the TCU staff at a camp on the Horned Frogs’ campus, earning an offer on June 10th from Chris Thomsen, Gary Patterson, and the TCU staff.
