Several writers around the country apparently don’t like the Sooners. Despite pummeling Baylor and having their QB account for seven touchdowns, Oklahoma lost ground in Sunday’s AP Poll, dropping a spot for a second straight week despite earning a victory.
Meanwhile, the love affair with the Mountaineers continues, as WVU jumped three spots and into the top ten after jumping out to a big lead early and holding on late against Texas Tech, who saw their one week run as being a top 25 team come to a disappointing end. Texas rose to 19th, setting up a top 20 showdown with OU at next weekend’s Red River Showdown, which will be the site of ESPN’s College Game Day (which is probably beyond excited to have the Longhorns relevant once again).
