Former TCU Horned Frogs defensive star Devonte Fields has reportedly avoided a potentially serious assault charge which could pave the way for his career with the Louisville Cardinals to resume.
Last year, Fields was accused of punching his ex-girlfriend, pointing a gun at her and threatening her.
That led to an assault charge for the defensive end and ultimately his dismissal from TCU. However, over the weekend, Fields dodged the trouble by learning that his charges can be dropped by simply completing an anger management course.
The family of ex-TCU football star Devonte Fields says his assault charge is to be dismissed with completion of anger management course.
