FORT WORTH - Another win, another couple of firsts.
If Jamie Dixon is tiring of the mile markers of tangible progress in his first season at TCU, it’s certainly not showing yet.
The latest came with Saturday’s 84-77 win over Big 12 contender Iowa State. In the process, TCU (14-3, 3-2 Big 12) notched its first win over the Cyclones in nine tries as a member of the Big 12. For the first time since joining the Big 12 in 2012, the Horned Frogs are actually above .500 in conference play.
Just like the first win at Texas in 30 years, Dixon made sure his players knew the significance.
