FORT WORTH -- TCU football head coach Gary Patterson kept things straight to the point when he took the podium in the Four Sevens Team Meeting room on Tuesday for the first time since the Horned Frogs' 27-26 loss to Kansas on Saturday.
"Someone said to me that Kansas -- that was bad," Patterson said. "Well there's no such thing as 'not a bad loss.' It doesn't matter if it's one point. It doesn't matter if it's 100 points. It doesn't matter to it's who. A loss is a loss."
Nonetheless, TCU (3-5, 1-4 Big 12) finds itself in a hole few envisioned at the start of the season, needing three wins in its final four games to become bowl-eligible.
