Sonny Cumbie and TCU went north to target one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country, and Sunday night Council Bluffs, IA native Max Duggan made that work pay off, committing to the Frogs as the eighth member of #CarterBoys19.
Duggan is a top-300 player in the country, and rated the #3 dual-threat QB in the class of 2019. Standing 6’2” and weighing in at 190 pounds, Duggan led his Lewis Central team to the Class 4-A Quarterfinals, but wasn’t able to finish the game after suffering a broken fibula and ligament tears in his ankle. A four-sport athlete, Duggan missed the basketball and track seasons recovering, but is expected to play baseball this summer and be at full strength for his senior football season in the fall.
