FORT WORTH-- TCU men's basketball embarked on a 19-2 run in the first half vs. West Virginia Tuesday night and never looked back en route to a record-setting 98-67 win over the Mountaineers at Schollmaier Arena.
The win snapped a two-game skid for the Horned Frogs (13-3, 2-2 Big 12) as West Virginia remained winless in Big 12 play and dropped below the .500 mark on the season (8-9, 0-5 Big 12). Junior guard Desmond Bane had a season-high 26 points in the win as TCU finished the night shooting 48 percent, including an 43 percent mark from three-point range.
