It started out disappointing, the Frogs being relegated to the National Invitational Tournament for the second time in three seasons since Jamie Dixon took over the program in 2016.
But disappointment soon turned to message sending, as TCU took down their first three NIT opponents on their home floor, defeating each by double-digits in convincing fashion.
But, what is done is done, and it’s a whole new ball game at Madison Square Garden, where the Frogs must win twice more to cut down the nets.
