Kevin Cash has penciled in his starting pitcher for the first game of the World Series tonight as he’ll be going with the tremendously talented Tyler Glasnow.
The 6’ 8” 27-year-old Glasnow has pitched in four games this postseason for the Rays, allowing 10 runs over 19 1⁄3 innings pitched. He has compiled a 31.3 strikeout percentage with a 10.0 walk percentage. Home runs have been a problem for him, having already allowed six longballs in the postseason.
Glasnow last pitched on October 14, in Game Four of the League Championship Series against the Houston Astros.
