It took Wilson Ramos a few days to get himself going at the plate. After missing most of the first half of the season as he recovered from his torn ACL, Ramos worked his way back through his rehab appearances. He started slowly at both Charlotte and Durham before getting himself into a groove, looking like the catcher the Tampa Bay Rays hoped they were signing.
Given those slow starts as he worked his way up the ladder, it was not a surprise that Ramos had a slow start when he debuted with the Rays. He had just one hit and one walk in his first three games, as Ramos slowly acclimated himself to the majors once again.
