Hurricane Milton, the category 5 hurricane that hit the Tampa Bay region on October 9th, has destroyed the roof of Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Drone footage of the damage was captured by WxChasing, which captured the damage left by the destruction of the 30-year old roof. Inside the stadium you can see the beds which were being used by first responders during the storm.

Tropicana Field received a roof in 1993 when it was the home stadium for the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning from 1993-1996; at the time was referred to as the Thunder Dome.
