Triple Play: Rays LF Decker has up, down day in field

Decker giveth, Decker taketh away

LF Jaff Decker dropped a fly ball in the third inning Monday that led to a Braves run.

He made up for that run plus another in the bottom of he sixth when he jumped above the wall to rob former Rays infielder Reid Brignac of a two-run homer. Brignac stopped running between first and second and applauded the catch before returning the dugout.

“That was awesome. What a play,” Cash said. “Off the bat we felt with the wind, everything, homer. He’s a gamer, man. That guy can play. It seems like everything he gets up to the plate he squares the ball up.
