In lieu of the Good and Bad, let’s just get caught up on what was a busy transaction weekend:
- Bobby Wilson was promoted after the trade of David DeJesus. A day later he was placed on waivers and claimed by the Texas Rangers.
- Kirby Yates was promoted after the trade of Kevin Jepsen.
- Mikie Mahtook was promoted after Bobby Wilson was claimed by the Rangers. He was then demoted back to Durham after one game.
- Grady Sizemore was promoted to take Mikie Mahtook’s spot.
