THE GOOD: The end is near…With Steven Souza Jr activated on Friday, it feels like this is the closest the Rays have come all season to having a complete team. Sure, they still don’t have Alex Cobb, Jake McGee and Desmond Jennings, but that’s a lot better than what the Rays dealt with most of the season when it seemed like 4-5 key players were on the DL at all times. Souza went 3-10 with a double in his return after more than a month on the DL…Drew Smyly continues to alternate good starts with not-great starts.
