THE GOOD: Matt Moore is back! Hopefully. We need to see more, but he was definitely back for at least one game in what was easily his best start since returning from Tommy John surgery. In fact, the 7 shutout innings with 9 strikeouts and giving up just 2 hits and no walks was probably his best start since his 2-hit shutout against the Red Sox just after the All-Star break in 2013. That start was notable because it was probably the last time Moore was completely healthy. In his next start he gave up 5 runs in 5 innings and then went on the DL with “elbow soreness.
