One of the more interesting promotions this season will be coming up on Saturday. The Tampa Bay Rays are scheduled to have a doubleheader on Saturday against the Athletics, the first scheduled doubleheader since July 2011. As fans will be able to see both games for one low price, it will be a fun day at the ballpark.
The Rays are certainly doing their part to make this a day to remember, with several events and promotions lined up. First, they will be breaking their 1970s “throwback” uniforms out of the mothballs, where they have stayed since their introduction in 2014.
