The Tampa Bay Rays are reportedly calling up outfielder Chandler Simpson to the big leagues.
The 24-year old has received national attention for his game-changing speed, or at times breaking the game altogether. There are videos that have gone viral in baseball spheres of Simpson beating out ground balls to first base, arriving there routinely under 4 seconds.
Speed is just one part of Simpson’s game though as he is also one of the best in baseball at making contact. His speed and contact ability are perhaps the best pair of tools of any prospect in baseball.
