The Rays have promoted 2012 draft pick, and an International League all-star, Dylan Floro
Dana Eveland came on in a mop up role last night and proceeded to get lit up (again) as he allowed three runs on four hits during the Angels six run ninth inning. The outing was Eveland's 25th of the season and so far in 2016, he has faced 103 batters with 19 of them eventually crossing home plate (18%).
So, Kevin Cash finally had enough (again) as the Rays made the decision to designate the veteran Eveland for assignment (again). In his place, the Rays have promoted Dylan Floro who was selected in the 13th round of the 2012 draft by the Rays.
