Yesterday was the deadline for teams across the league to reinstate their players from the 60-day disabled list and place them on the 40-man roster. The Tampa Bay Rays had four players set to be activated: Jose Mujica, Jose De Leon, Wilmer Font, and Daniel Robertson.
With the Rays activating those four players, they also outrighted two pitchers off of their 40-man roster, with Andrew Kittredge and Vidal Nuno both being outrighted and choosing to become free agents.
Kittredge came to the Rays in November of 2016, after being acquired in the deal that sent Richie Shaffer and Taylor Motter to the Seattle Mariners.
