The Tampa Bay Rays are on a fantastic run right now.
They have won every game since their Opening Day loss to the Houston Astros. Over their past five games, they have yielded a total of five runs. Last night, Blake Snell and Wilmer Font combined to toss a two hit shutout against the Colorado Rockies.
Offensively, Guillermo Heredia had the big knock as he brought in two runs during a three run first inning. Later on in the game, Christian Arroyo laced his first hit during his 2019 season debut, bringing home Kevin Kiermaier. Yandy Diaz drilled a double in the eighth, but limped into second base with an ankle injury.
