Last night, the Tampa Bay Rays successfully completed a two game sweep of the Miami Marlins, with their second consecutive shutout.
The Rays pitching staff skirted into and out of danger all night long, as the Marlins offense was 0-10 with runners in scoring position. The Rays lone run of the night came on Anthony Bemboom’s first major league hit, a second inning double that brought home Willy Adames.
In unfortunate news, several Rays left the game early due to various injuries. Guillermo Heredia left due to being in the hand by a pitch, but fortunately the X-Rays were negative.
