Last night, the Tampa Bay Rays fell again to the New York Yankees for the second consecutive game, losing consecutive games for the first time since mid August.

Jake Faria started and pitched two scoreless innings before imploding in the third. The Yankees tallied seven runs during the frame, three against Faria. Andrew Kittredge failed to record an out, allowing a hit and walk, both of which came around to score. Jalen Beeks surrendered three runs on four hits over 3 23 innings of relief. Chih-Wei Hu had the best night of any Rays pitcher, delivering two scoreless innings.
