Last night, the Tampa Bay Rays shutout the Detroit Tigers, 4-0, to snap their four game losing streak.
Charlie Morton dominated, delivering seven scoreless innings and striking out eight during his night on the mound. Oliver Drake closed it out for the Rays, pitching a perfect 8th and 9th inning.
Offensively, Avisail Garcia doubled home a run. Austin Meadows tripled, and then scored thanks to an error. Ji-Man Choi was the only Rays player with a multi-hit game.
Today, the Rays go for the series victory with Ryne Stanek opening against Daniel Norris with first pitch slated for 1:10.
