Blake Snell had tossed 49 straight scoreless innings, including 46 this season, but it was just a streak. No player is as good as his best stretch as a professional, and we knew that Snell was going to fall back to earth. However, how far was he going to fall? Was breaking the scoreless streak going to cause him to lose his focus? As it turned out, the answer was no. Snell did allow a run, but he turned in another spectacular outing.
