The Tampa Bay Rays have announced their first round of spring roster cuts. Seven of the 67 players on the roster have been reassigned. The list includes some pretty well-known names in the Rays’ organization.
Rays’ number three prospect Vidal Brujan was among the players to get sent down. Here is the complete list:
The first five on the list are on the 40-man roster. Brujan made a very solid impression despite hitting just .118 in 17 at-bats. Manager Kevin Cash said about Brujan, “Pound for pound as strong as any player that we have.
