Rays No. 20 prospect Richie Shaffer was a perfect 4-for-4 with two home runs in Triple-A Durham's 10-8 win over Charlotte, pushing his season total to 21 roundtrippers.
That number is currently good for third in the Minor Leagues, behind Twins No. 12 prospect Adam Brett Walker (23) and Astros No. 11 prospect A.J. Reed (22). Shaffer, a first-round Draft pick in 2012, has increased his homer total in all four of his Minor League seasons and just passed his 2014 total -- and previous career-high -- of 19.
