The Rays released their 2016 Spring Training schedule on Friday, as well as information regarding ticket sales.
The club will open its 29-game Grapefruit League schedule on March 2, when it welcomes the Nationals for the first of 15 games at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla. Tampa Bay's Grapefruit League slate will conclude on April 1 with a trip to Lakeland, Fla., to take on the Tigers.
Highlights of the spring schedule include the Yankees making their lone trip to Charlotte Sports Park on March 12, followed a day later by the fellow division-rival Red Sox coming to town.
