Rays trade Amed Rosario to the Dodgers

The Tampa Bay Rays have traded utility defender Amed Rosario to the Dodgers.

Can confirm the #Dodgers have acquired Amed Rosario from the Rays. Second consecutive year LA gets Rosario, who will play against left-handed pitching.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the #Dodgers are designating left-hander Ryan Yarbrough for assignment, per source.— Juan Toribio (@juanctoribio) July 30, 2024

Rosario was on a one year contract with the Rays.

The return is Triple-A reliever Michael Flynn, a low arm slot right handed reliever that fits the recent Rays approach to surprising looks out of the bullpen.
