NEW YORK -- The Rays put reliever Chaz Roe on the disabled list Sunday morning, and they called up right-hander Jaime Schultz from Triple-A Durham.
Roe, who has a 3.60 ERA in 41 appearances, suffered a torn left meniscus.
Schultz, the No. 28 prospect in Tampa Bay's system as ranked by MLB Pipeline, was previously with the Rays in May. He pitched in one game, and he has posted a 3.38 ERA in 11 appearances since returning to Durham.
