The Tampa Bay Rays have reportedly agreed to trade their best pitcher, RHP Tyler Glasnow, and their fourth outfielder, OF Manuel Margot, for obvious reasons.
Glasnow, 30, is slated to make $25 million in 2024, which would have made him the highest paid player in a single-season in franchise history. Margot, 29, is due $10 million next season, with an option for 2025.
In return for the two veteran players, the Los Angeles Dodgers will reportedly send RHP Ryan Pepiot and OF Jonny Deluca.
Sources tell me and @AzoulayHaron that RHP Ryan Pepiot and Jonny DeLuca are expected to be in the return to Tampa Bay as the Dodgers acquire RHP Tyler Glasnow and OF Manuel Margot
