Nate Lowe hit a lot of home runs last season, and Josh Lowe has quite a bit of power potential. However, Sunday was the first time in their professional careers that they homered on the same day. It likely won’t be the last.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (6-10)
An early 6-2 lead wasn’t enough in Durham’s 7-6 loss to Gwinnett. Nate Lowe opened the scoring in the first with an RBI single, and RBI doubles from Christian Arroyo and Kean Wong made it 4-0. The Stripers scored two in the second, but Lowe immediately responded with a two-run homer.
