For the second straight season, Durham will meet Memphis in the Triple-A National Championship. The highly anticipated Genesis Cabrera and Justin Williams Bowl will be played in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday. The Bulls are 2-1 all-time in the game, and both wins came against Memphis, including 2017’s meeting.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (6-3)
Durham earned its second straight International League Championship with a 6-2 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Scranton native Joe McCarthy was one of the heroes. His first-inning home run gave the Bulls a 1-0 lead, and he doubled and scored in the two-run third.
