Jacob Faria's 6 1/3 innings Saturday is just the third time he's recorded an out in the seventh inning in 22 career Triple-A starts. It was certainly one of his best starts of the season.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (27-14)
Durham scored five in the first, and Jacob Faria cruised in Durham's 6-0 win over Gwinnett. Willy Adames tripled in a run and scored on a strike-three wild pitch, Curt Casali drove in two with a single, and Johnny Field's sacrifice fly capped the scoring.
