TORONTO — Tim Beckham didn’t have the best days on the bases during the final two games against the Blue Jays.
He would have been picked off first base Saturday had the call not been overturned by replay. He was later thrown out at the plate trying to score from second base on a single to center field by John Jaso.
On Sunday, Beckham was picked off third base for the final out of the third inning with Jaso at the plate.
“Beck’s a young player,” Rays manager Cash said. “He does a lot of things that really excite you.
