The spring training schedule released Thursday by Major League Baseball does not have games for the Rays from March 28-30, the three days they are tentatively scheduled to travel to Cuba.
The schedule released in December by the team had the Rays off March 28, playing the Twins in Port Charlotte on the 29th and playing the Twins in Fort Myers on the 30th.
If the trip is approved, the Rays will travel to Cuba on March 28th and play exhibition games against the Cuban national team the next two days before flying to Florida after the game on March 30.
