ATLANTA — The Rays don't seem likely to trade any players by Friday's deadline for postseason eligibility.
But if they do, 1B/DH C.J. Cron is probably the most likely to go.
Cron, despite limited playing time, continues to showcase his power.
That included his start to Wednesday's rain-delayed, then interrupted game against Atlanta, with a double, homer and single in his first four at-bats. That gives him a career-high-extending 25 homers on the year, and 49 extra-base hits among his first 109, with a .255 average and 60 RBIs.
The game started 41 minutes late, then was interrupted at 10:20 p.
