PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Peter Bourjos, Nick Franklin, and Shane Peterson homered in the sixth to lead the Rays to a 15-6 win over the Orioles Wednesday afternoon at Charlotte Sports Park.
Bourjos got the home run parade started with a two-run blast off Jefri Hernandez. Franklin hit a three-run homer off Brian Moran before Peterson added a three-run homer to cap the 12-run inning that gave the Rays a 14-2 lead.
Bourjos, who joined the Rays on Wednesday after coming over in a trade with the White Sox on Tuesday, had three hits and made a nice catch at the wall in center field.
