Rays fall on WP after Archer's strong start

ST. PETERSBURG -- Alex Colome uncorked a wild pitch in the top of the ninth and Kevin Pillar raced home from third base with the go-ahead run to give the Blue Jays a 2-1 win over the Rays on Sunday afternoon at Tropicana Field.

The Rays took two out of three from the Blue Jays during the weekend series and were hoping to move to .500 on the season with a win. The loss left Tampa Bay at 15-17 with an off-day on Monday before the team welcomes the Braves for a two-game set.
