Rays down on the farm May 29: Snell allows runs again

Fun fact: Joe Dillon is Triple-A Syracuse's hitting coach. The Chiefs' manager is former Montgomery skipper Billy Gardner.

That was not actually very fun, but Syracuse is Durham's next opponent.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (26-23)

Durham was off.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (22-26)

Blake Snell had another scoreless streak end in Montgomery's 3-2 win over Jackson. Snell kept the Generals off the board for the first six innings before surrendering a two-run inning and losing the Biscuits' 1-0 lead in the process. He finished with two runs allowed on six hits and four walks in 6 2/3 innings with five strikeouts, but the offense bailed him out.
