Triple-A Durham Bulls (39-30)
Durham's offense was quieted again in its 4-1 loss to Columbus. Ryan Brett's RBI single in the fifth cut the Bulls' deficit to 2-1, but they could not take advantage of the bases still being loaded with just one out. Starter Scott Diamond allowed three runs on six hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings, and Durham hitters struck out 18 times.
Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (34-33)
Montgomery was on the short end of a slugfest in its 11-10 loss to Biloxi in 10 innings.
