I lost internet for a few days because of a tree-falling-on-house incident, so I missed things like Jacob Faria's unbelievable start on Saturday with 14 strikeouts.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (43-40)
Dylan Floro had an interesting outing in Durham's 8-5 loss to Norfolk. The first six batters reached base against him, capped by a grand slam to give the Tides a 6-0 lead before an out was recorded. After that, he settled in and managed to pitch seven innings without allowing a seventh run. An RBI single for John Jaso and sacrifice flies by Boog Powell and Richie Shaffer pulled Durham within 6-3 after three innings before the teams traded two-run ninth innings.
