ST. PETERSBURG — The Tampa Bay Rays reach the All-Star break today. Now what?
They rest, that’s what.
It has been a grind of a first half, first with all the injuries, then with all the winning then with all the losing.
The Rays certainly crammed a lot of drama into the first 91 games.
Despite the horrible stretch, they are hanging around in the AL East, though it would behoove them to get off to a strong start when the second half begins Friday in Toronto, lest they get left behind.
Now, do they have the goods to make this possible?
