Rays at Padres lineups for Monday in first visit since 2004

The Rays are making their first visit to San Diego since 2004 and just their second overall for a three-game series that starts tonight.

Diego Castillo will be the opener for the Rays and Austin Pruitt is available for bulk innings, though the Rays may be aggressive in shuffling pitchers if it’s a close game and use pinch-hitters whenever possible. That’s because this is an interleague series with no DH.

The Padres have a couple of familiar ex-Rays, former Rookie of the Year outfielder Wil Myers and 2019 All-Star reliever Kirby Yates.
