While there has not been official word from the Rays or Major League Baseball, it appears the Rays’ trip to Cuba will be March 21 and 22.
The spring training schedule on the Rays’ website has been adjusted for the second time this offseason with those two dates now open. Originally, the Rays were scheduled to play the visiting Braves March 21 and have off March 22.
The trip to Cuba was thought to take place during the last week of the Grapefruit League schedule with a travel day March 28 and games March 29 and 30.
